IRASSHAIMASE

I know what you're thinking right now... "Is this site REALLY going to teach me Japanese? I mean... the person making this doesn't even have Japanese as a first language..." Well, the answer is YES, this site CAN teach you Japanese but to a limited degree. See, I, myself, have been taking Japanese classes this year and I couldn't help but want to teach others the language along with me, especially those whose schools aren't fortunate enough to offer the language. With help from my own Japanese teacher and my Japanese textbook, I am going to try and teach you an easy way to speak a polite level of Japanese (which would be really useful if you one day planned on going to Japan). Simply use the Navigation on the right to choose a lesson and then you can get to it! Enjoy and feel free to send me your comments, as well as corrections if you find any errors.
This site is best viewed in screen resolution 1024 x 768. Also, in order to display the Japanese characters properly, you must change your language encoding to Japanese. This layout is version seven.

UPDATES

10/3- School is back in session and you know what that means ... new lessons! I've added six new lessons for your learning enjoyment, so please check them out. Also, on the menu, each lesson shows the topic when you hold your mouse over it. I'm going to try to put up a new layout soon, so be on the look out for more updates.
6/16- Added lessons 67 and 68, the last lessons to be put up before the summer! Arigatou gozaimashita for everyone's support during this year... I'll be back in September with even more lessons to put up for you! Ja mata ne!
5/30- A little later than expected, but I've put up lessons 65 and 66. The layout also works on all the pages. To Yuki, my first flame: When starting a new language, you would not expect the conversations to be realistic or natural. Would you expect a Japanese student learning English to speak like you or me after a few lessons? No. If you can write me better conversations, I'll gladly put them up. :) Anyway, to everyone else who left me great comments, arigatou gozaimashita and thanks for your support. ^^
5/27- New layout, though a few kinks still need to be worked out. (Like the guestbook! ^^;) Tomorrow some new lessons will be added so be on the lookout for them. ^^
4/16- Four new lessons have been added for your learning pleasure!! ^^ Douzo! And arigatou gozaimashita to all who have signed my guestbook. I really appreciate it!
4/2- Ack, ohisashiburi ne! ><; Gomen nasai for the delay, but a new layout is up! Also, in each lesson, the Japanese reading has been added with the Roomaji by the requests of many. ^^ Douzo!
2/22- Three more lessons have been added for your learning pleasure. ^^ Douzo!
2/19- Gomen nasai for the delay! Lessons 54 through 57 have been added and I have lots more to add, so stay posted!
